For Karate Kid: Legends, my team turned IMDb into a digital dojo where fans everywhere could step into the Karate Kid universe and earn their own belt, just like Daniel-san and the new generation.

Three disciplines, one belt

Across web and mobile, players worked through three mini-games built on the film’s core disciplines: Precision (strike the targets with perfect timing), Memory (master Mr. Miyagi’s legendary sequences) and Balance (hold your stance against every distraction). Clear the challenges, move up the ranks and claim your belt.

We launched the fully localized game at the same time in 6 languages across 10 countries in Europe and Latin America: the UK, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria and Ireland. Character galleries and exclusive video sat right alongside the game, so the training and the blockbuster hype lived in one place.

Recognition

The work won a Silver ADDY at the 2026 Los Angeles American Advertising Awards, in the Web Banner Ad or Website Takeover category.
